PILYPAITIS NAMED AMERICAN EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK AGAIN

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Vermont senior Courtnay Pilypaitis (Ottawa) has been named the America East Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 7.
This is the fourth weekly honour of the season for Pilypaitis. She has earned the player of the week honour 11 times in her career, tying former standout Karalyn Church for the most all-time among Catamounts, and tying for the third most weekly honours all-time in America East records.
Pilypaitis led the Catamounts, who lead the U.S. in road wins (12), to a pair of victories away from Patrick Gymnasium last week. She averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists and shot 42.9 per cent from the field, 40 per cent from three-point range and 88.9 per cent from the foul line.
