Don’t miss the 2020 edition of the Canada Basketball Foundation Golf Classic!


Despite a year drastically changed due to COVID-19, with the help of the Lionhead Golf & Country Club, we are pleased to be able to host our golfers in a safe environment, respecting health and safety measures, while still allowing for an unforgettable day on the links. Now entering its 4th year, our golf tournament has become a unique event for basketball fans and golf enthusiasts to combine these two passions. 

Event Details

Thursday, October 8 - Staggered Tee Times Beginning at 9:30AM (Golfers asked to arrive 30 minutes before tee time to benefit from pre-golf activity).

$4000/foursome or $2000/twosome. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the appropriate value as per CRA guidelines.

- Food and drink will be supplied respecting COVID-19 restrictions at that time.

The Welcome Fairway: Pre-Golf Experience

Prior to golf, each foursome will be invited to spend time in the  entertaining and interactive Canada Basketball space finishing at the Meet & Greet area where each foursome will have the opportunity to chat with our CEO Glen Grunwald and other Canada Basketball representatives. 

Thank You to Jump Thru Hoops and GLORY

We are pleased to have the support of Jump Thru Hoops - A youth development program that empowers young people through community service and basketball providing them with the opportunity in these challenging times to support local business and feed frontline workers.

Our media partner will extend visibility of the tournament to its digital platform as well as follow-up coverage in the print edition reaching an influential and national audience. In addition, they will conduct on-site interviews and capture the entire experience in images that will result in a video souvenir to be shared with all participants.
