With the Give the Gift of the Game fundraising campaign you can help Team Canada as they strive for excellence in international basketball.

Basketball continues to grow in our country and players from around Canada are starting to blossom. It is to note that Canada now has the most international players in the NBA and a continuing growing presence in the NCAA. Team Canada was successful this previous year with the Senior Women’s National Team placing 5th at the FIBA World Championship – the highest finish in 28 years for Senior Women’s Basketball. The Age Group National Men’s Team climbed up the FIBA World Rankings from 6th to 3rd with the U16/U17 team placing 6th at the FIBA U17 World Championships in Dubai and the U18/U19 team capturing the silver at the FIBA U19 Americas in Colorado Springs. The Age Group National Women’s Team has a combined FIBA World Ranking of 4th, mirroring the Men’s results of a 6th place U16/U17 and 2nd place U18/U19 finish. To top it off, Canada Basketball will be competing in 10 different competitions worldwide this summer while also hosting the Women’s FIBA Americas in Edmonton, Alberta during August.

Be part of our team and donate now!

In order for our teams to maintain their momentum going forward, we need more resources to ensure we can provide them with quality training programs to compete with the leading basketball nations around the world.

Your donation will increase opportunities for our National Teams to reach their dreams of podiums in international competition and will help us build grassroots programs across the country.

For all donations over $20 made payable to the Canadian Basketball Foundation, a charitable tax receipt will be issued (4-5 days after donating).
