The 2018 U18 Women's National Team participated in the FIBA U18 America's Women's Championship 2018 in Mexico City, Mexico from August 1-7 2018.  After participating in training camp at York University in Toronto, Ontario, the team flew to Mexico to play 6 games in the tournament.

The U18 Women's National Team started the tournament off strong, winning all 3 group phase games to finish at the top of Group B, then going on to win their Quarter-Final and Semi-Final matchup to face USA in the gold medal game.  Team Canada lost to USA 84-60 in the gold medal game to finish with their 3rd consecutive silver medal at a U18 Americas Championship.  

With the silver medal and their victory in the Quarter-Finals, Canada qualified for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2019.
