Accessibility Plan

Canada Basketball is committed to making the sport of basketball accessible and providing an inclusive environment for all participants.

Canada Basketball has developed an Accessibility Plan which explores the organization’s policies, programs, practices and services concerning the identification and removal of barriers. This will be done through continuing the development, implementation, and enforcement of standards relating to customer service, and events as well as updating our information and communications standards.

This Accessibility Plan also explores the actions being taken to identify, remove and prevent barriers by outlining short- and long-term commitments to improve accessibility now and into the future.

Accessible Website
Canada Basketball works diligently to ensure that all users, regardless of their technical set-up or disabilities, can access the information provided on basketball.ca.

To achieve that goal, our team and web partners follow the standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium – WC3. Our website is designed to meet and exceed the basic level of accessibility set by the W3C and required by both Federal and Provincial governments for private websites (known as WCAG 2.1 level AA).

If during the update you experience any difficulties or would like any assistance related to accessibility, please feel free to contact us using the below options. We are happy to provide additional support during this time of transition.
