Dix-huit athlètes de partout au pays ont été invités à participer au camp de Pâques de l'équipe nationale masculine cadette (ÉNMC) au Campus nord du Collège Humber du 3 au 6 avril.

<< Nous sommes excités de regrouper ce groupe de jeunes talents. La majorité de ces athlètes ont été développés par leurs équipes communautaires, écoles, organismes provinciaux ainsi que Canada Basketball >>, selon Rowan Barrett, vice-président exécutif et gérant général adjoint de la haute performance masculine. << Nous avons également réuni un groupe expérimenté d'entraîneurs, thérapeutes, médecins et gérants engagés dédiés au développement à log terme et aux succès de nos athlètes cadets.

L'été dernier, l'ÉNMC a terminé en 6e place à la Coupe mondiale U17 2014 de la FIBA à Dubaï sous la direction de l'entraîneur-chef Dave DeAveiro. En 2015, les athlètes nés en 1999 ou plus tard se rendront au championnat U16 de la FIBA, Zone des Amériques, à Bahia Blanca en Argentine du 10 au 14 juin.

Le Canada est présentement classé au 3e rang du classement mondial  des groupes d'âges de la FIBA.

****Vendredi 3 avril :                       18 à 21 heures.
Samedi 4 avril :                     10 à 13 heures et 18 à 21 heures.
Dimanche 5 avril :                10 à 13 heures et 18 à 21 heures.
