Notes des championnats nationaux: Les affrontements des demi-finales sont confirmés après les quarts de finale à Toronto et à St. John’s
ST John’s, TNL. (le 9 août 2024)— La quatrième journée des championnats nationaux masculins et féminins U15 et U17 de Canada Basketball vient de s’achever à Toronto et à St John’s aujourd’hui. Le tournoi a lieu du 5 au 10 août 2024.
Les équipes ne s’étant pas qualifiées pour les quarts de finale continuent de jouer les unes contre les autres pour déterminer le classement final en vue de la compétition de l’année prochaine, mais voici la mise à jour du tableau avant le début des demi-finales:

Ontario vs Colombie Britannique
Alberta vs Québec
- L’Ontario a battu la Nouvelle-Écosse 74-44 et se qualifie pour les demi-finales, démontrant pourquoi elles étaient la tête de série No. 1 à l’issue de la phase de poule.
- La Colombie-Britannique a battu le Manitoba par la marque de 63 à 41, donnant à l’équipe le plein de confiance avant de rencontrer l’Ontario en demi-finale.
- L’Alberta continue de prouver pourquoi elle fait partie des équipes favorites du tournoi, enregistrant une large victoire 67-37 face à la Saskatchewan.
- Québec, l’équipe championne en titre, est en mission. Elles ont battu l’Île-Du-Prince-Édouard 94-37 et vont maintenant rejoindre l’Alberta en demi-finale.

Les Championnats nationaux U15 & U17 de Canada Basketball sont la plus grande compétition sportive nationale de niveau amateur de la communauté du basketball canadien. Chaque été, la meilleure génération de jeunes athlètes de haut niveau des groupes d’âge U15 & U17 compétitionnent pour le titre de champion national tout en représentant fièrement leur province/territoire d’origine.
