TORONTO, ON (June 8, 2018) - Canada Basketball is pleased to announce the 17 athletes who will attend the U17 men's national team training camp from June 11-16 at Humber College - North Campus (Toronto, ON).
Head Coach Kirby Schepp (University of Manitoba) will be joined by assistants Michael Meeks (Canada Basketball), Dan Vanhooren (University of Calgary), and Jason Dawkins (Ontario Basketball).
Following training camp, the team will travel to Mexico City on Sunday, June 17 for pre-competition training from June 18-21. From there the team will travel to Argentina for additional pre-competition training from June 23-27 ahead of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2018.

Last summer, the team earned a silver medal at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2017 in Formosa, Argentina.
Canada is currently ranked 2nd worldwide in the FIBA Youth Men Rankings.
