Things to know heading into Game 2 against Lithuania:

- One in the books: Team Canada kicked off its FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 campaign with a 108-92 loss to Australia on Sunday. Despite a 23-3 run in the third quarter, Canada could not hold off the Boomers in the fourth where Australia opened on a 16-2 run to start the quarter, regain control of the game, and record their first victory of the tournament. Khem Birch had 18 points for Canada in the loss, while Cory Joseph scored 16 and Kevin Pangos added 14 points. Australia was led by a 24-point performance from Matthew Dellavedova, as well as a 13-point, 10-assist outing from Joe Ingles and and 16 points from Chris Goulding.

- On the board: Shortly after Canada’s loss to Australia, Lithuania faced off against Senegal in the other match-up from Group H (made up of Lithuania, Senegal, Canada and Australia). Lithuania recorded the most lopsided victory of the tournament so far with a dominant 101-47 win where they led by 17 after the opening 10 minutes, 27 at the half, and 44 after three quarters as they controlled the game from start to finish.

- Familiar faces: NBA fans will recognize former Toronto Raptors big man Jonas Valanciunas on Lithuania’s roster, as well as Domantas Sabonis of the Indiana Pacers. Sabonis is the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Arvydas Sabonis. Valanciunas was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in a mid-season trade during the last NBA season. In Sunday’s victory against Senegal, Valanciunas and Sabonis each scored 13 points as they led seven Lithuanian players in double figures, despite playing just 21 minutes apiece in the victory.

- Up next: After Tuesday’s game against Lithuania, Canada will play their final game of the first-round against Senegal on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 3:30 A.M. ET. Rounding out Group H action, Australia will play Senegal on Tuesday, Sept 3 at 3:30 A.M. ET before Australia and Lithuania are scheduled to face off on Sept. 5 at 7:30 A.M. ET.
