The 2016 WNBA season is only half complete, though it's already been a historic one for Canada.

So far, an all-time high six Canadians have suited up during the WNBA's 20th anniversary campaign, and there are presently five on active rosters with the Olympic schedule break just around the corner.

Here's a look at how the current quintet of Canadian WNBAers are performing (stats as of July 7):

Natalie Achonwa, Indiana Fever (centre/Guelph, ON)

13 games, 2.9 points, 2.5 rebounds

After helping Team Canada last summer in qualifying for the Rio Summer Games, Achonwa is back for her second season with the Fever. She has recorded season highs of 10 points and eight rebounds, both coming against Atlanta in May. The defending Eastern Conference champion Fever (7-11) are in the thick of the playoff race.

Kayla Alexander, San Antonio Silver Stars (centre/Milton, ON)

18 games, 7.7 points, 4.6 rebounds

In her fourth season with the Silver Stars, Alexander has more than doubled her career scoring average. She achieved her first WNBA double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds on June 2 at Los Angeles. San Antonio (5-13) is at the bottom of the Western Conference standings, but not far out of a playoff spot.

Adut Bulgak, New York Liberty (forward/Edmonton, AB)

5 games, 1.6 points, 1.2 rebounds

New York's first-round pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft, Bulgak made her debut on June 3, recording two points and three rebounds against Indiana. She played a career-high eight minutes and scored three points against Los Angeles on June 7. The Liberty (13-6) sit atop the Eastern Conference standings, 3.5 games ahead of second-place Atlanta.

Ruth Hamblin, Dallas Wings (centre/Houston, B.C.)

13 games, 1.2 points, 1.3 rebounds

Hamblin, who was selected 18th overall in the 2016 WNBA Draft, has appeared in more than two-thirds of Dallas's games thus far. On June 4, she logged 15 minutes against Minnesota and grabbed a career-high five rebounds. Hamblin leads the Wings in blocks per 40 minutes (2.7). Dallas (9-10) is third in the Western Conference.

Jamie Weisner, Washington Mystics (guard/Clarkston, Wash.)

5 games, 2.4 points, 0.6 rebounds

After being selected in the second round of 2016 WNBA Draft by Connecticut, Weisner was released before the beginning of the season but quickly signed with Washington. She has made the most of her opportunities, scoring 12 points in 15 minutes for the Mystics (9-10). Weisner's career-best five points came against Minnesota on June 26.
