The Junior Women’s National Team (JWNT) has won its first game of the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship by forfeit as Team Senegal was unable to play the match. Canada has been awarded a 20-0 victory and two points in the standings.

The JWNT will face the Netherlands on day two of the competition. Rounding-out the four teams that make-up Group C is France. Team Canada is scheduled to tip-off against the Netherlands on Friday, July 19 at 6:30 a.m. (ET)
