Kassius Robertson, Bridget Carleton Named Toyota Canada Players of the Week
TORONTO, Ont. (October 1, 2024) – Kassius Robertson and Bridget Carleton have been named the Toyota Canada Players of the Week for September 23-29.
The Minnesota Lynx dominated the first round of the WNBA playoffs against the Phoenix Mercury, advancing to the second round against the Connecticut Sun. Carleton averaged 13.7 points, four rebounds and 2.7 assists during the first round. Carleton last played for Canada on the Senior Women’s National Team during the Paris Olympics in August.
On September 28, Joventut Badalona faced the UCAM Murcia in the Liga ACB competition, securing a victory with a score of 91-76. Toronto native, Robertson delivered an impressive performance scoring 25 points, five rebounds and four assists in just 23 minutes, improving to a 2-0 record. Robertson last played for the Senior Men’s National Team during the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
