Here are six Canadians in the NCAA who started off 2013 with a bang.

Natalie Achonwa (Guelph, ON) – Notre Dame, Jr.

Natalie continued her solid play in a 75-71 win over South Florida. Her 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and a block powered the Fighting Irish to the W.

Kevin Pangos (Newmarket, ON) – Gonzaga, So.

Pangos went 8/12 from the field en route to 22 points with 3 threes, 3 assists and 3 steals as the Zags held off Saint Mary's 83-78.

Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (Toronto, ON) – Simon Fraser, Sr.

After setting a GNAC single-game rebounding record with 24 in Dec, Nayo set the GNAC career double-double record with her 49th going 11 and 15 vs. Alaska Anchorage.

Tyrone Watson (Hamilton, ON) – New Mexico, Sr.

The 6'5" forward put together a career performance with 26PTS, 6REB, 5AST, 7STL and 2BLK in the Aggies's 2OT win over Seattle. You read that correctly, that was in one game.

Kayla Alexander (Milton, ON) – Syracuse, Sr.

Alexander contributed 20 points, 5 rebounds, an assist and 2 blocks for good measure in a 92-79 W over Marquette.

Dwight Powell (Toronto, ON) – Stanford, Jr.
