Jamie Weisner (Clarkson, Washington) Junior Guard – Oregon State Beavers

The Blonde Bomber continues to be an integral piece on the 7th-ranked Beavers team. Against Colorado and Utah this past week, Jamie managed to averaged 16.0 PPG and 7.0 RPG with a 57% shooting percentage from behind the arc. Her best game of the week came against Colorado when she racked up a double-double by scoring 17 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 2 assists and an 83% field goal percentage in a 66-44 victory. Jamie and the Beavers look to close out the regular season strongly next week as they play Stanford and California, respectively.

Cassandra Brown (Vernon, British Columbia) Senior Guard/Forward – Portland Pilots

Even through the hard times of the season, Cassandra continues to play well in her senior year for the Pilots. In two losses this week against Pacific and Saint Mary’s, Cassandra averaged 17.5 PPG with 6.0 RPG, 3.0 BPG and a 63% field goal percentage. She shined the brightest on Senior Night against Saint Mary’s when she notched 21 points along with 5 rebounds, 4 blocks and a 71% field goal percentage. The Pilots and Cassandra hope to finish the season on a two game winning streak against Brigham Young and San Diego on Thursday and Saturday.

Adut Bulgak (Edmonton, Alberta) Junior Center – Florida State Seminoles

The junior, Adut, chooses not to stop playing well for the Seminoles. This week she averaged 16.0 PPG and 6.5 RPG against ACC opponents – Clemson and Boston College. Against Boston College, she had a solid game of 19 points and 6 rebounds to go along with a 60% field-goal percentage in an 86-68 Florida State win. After a successful jump from the Junior College ranks, Adut hopes to finish the season strong with the Seminoles against North Carolina State and Miami.

Kyle Wiltjer (Portland, Oregon) Junior Forward – Gonzaga Bulldogs

The WCC Player of the Week for the second week in a row clearly solidified his case for the Wooden Award at year’s end this past week. Kyle had an absolutely monstrous week against Pacific and Saint Mary’s where he averaged 30.5 PPG together with 9.0 RPG, 1.0 BPG, 1.0 SPG and a 64% three-point shooting percentage. Kyle scored a career high against Pacific when he netted 45 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in an 86-74 victory. Kyle and the Bulldogs look to finish the season on their lengthy winning streak against San Diego and Brigham Young.

Dyshawn Pierre (Whitby, Ontario) Junior Forward – Dayton Flyers

This past week Dyshawn plateaued 1,000+ points as a Dayton Flyer. His play throughout the week wasn’t too shabby as well as he averaged 21.0 PPG, 11.0 RPG and 4.5 APG with a 54% field-goal percentage against Saint Joseph’s and Duquesne. His best game of the week was against Duquesne when he earned a double-double by scoring 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while also dishing out 3 assists and swatting 2 blocks. The Flyers look to solidify their tournament bid and go on another Cinderella run this year as they close the season off against George Mason, Virginia Commonwealth, Rhode Island and La Salle.

Dillon Brooks (Mississauga, Ontario) Freshman Forward – Oregon Ducks

The Mississauga native had a tremendous week for the Ducks. In two wins against Colorado and Utah, Dillon was dynamic by averaging 16.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 1.5 SPG. In an upset victory against Utah, Dillon had a thunderous dunk and a great stat line of 19 points and 7 rebounds with a 70% field-goal percentage. The Beavers and Dillon hope to make a push in this last part of the season and squeeze in to the tournament as they finish against California, Stanford and Oregon State.
