Sharpe, Akot named Keg Size Players of the Week

TORONTO (November 19, 2025) - Shaedon Sharpe and Achol Akot have been named The Keg Size Players of the Week for November 10 - November 16, presented by The Keg.

Shaedon Sharpe, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from London, Ont., delivered an impressive week for the Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 30 points, five rebounds and three assists across four games. He highlighted his performances with 36 points, four rebounds and six assists in an overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks, and followed that with 35 points, five rebounds and three assists in a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Sharpe continues to showcase his offensive firepower and all-around impact at the NBA level. On the international stage, Sharpe represented Canada at the 2019 FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Brazil, averaging 13 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists, and helping the team capture the silver medal.

Ottawa native Achol Akot shone in a dominant Oklahoma State win on Nov. 11, helping the Cowgirls roll past Prairie View A&M 105–55. The 6-foot-1 forward delivered an outstanding all-around performance, posting 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals while shooting an impressive 87.5 per cent from the field. Competing in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I, Akot continues to showcase her impact and versatility. She also recently represented Canada at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Basketball World Tour in Vienna, further cementing her presence on the international stage.
