“There’s a little competition between Drake and Beyonce right now,” Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe says.

Yes the chart-topping Toronto rapper and the Queen Bee are going to head-to-head for the SWNT’s unofficial theme of song of the 2016 Rio Games.

Drake’s “One Dance” off his latest album “Views” has emerged as the early go-to track in the locker room, but Beyonce’s new album “Lemonade” has been on heavy rotation as well.

As a Canadian, Drake might have the edge. In fact, the Toronto Raptors global ambassador – whose love for hoops is well-known – could probably seal the deal by giving the SWNT a shout-out on one of his next tracks.

“That would be amazing,” smiles Raincock-Ekunwe.
