TORONTO (June 8, 2026) — Canada Basketball has announced the U18 Women’s National Team roster ahead of the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup 2026.
The FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup 2026 is set for June 9 to 15 in Irapuato, Mexico and features the best 8 teams in the Americas. All the action will be streaming live on FIBA’s YouTube channel.
Canada is in Group A with Puerto Rico (Tuesday, June 9 at 5:00 pm ET / 2:00 pm PT), Dominican Republic (Wednesday, June 10 at 2:30 pm ET / 11:30 am PT) and Venezuela (Friday, June 12 at 5:00 pm ET / 2:00 pm PT).
Canada has its sights set on gold, looking to improve upon a silver-medal finish at the 2024 edition of the tournament.
Dianna Ros will make her debut as head coach, supported by assistant coaches Courtnay Pilypaitis and Claire Meadows.
Canada is currently ranked 3rd overall in the FIBA women’s age-group rankings, presented by Nike.
