Women's National Team To Hold Open Identification Session In Toronto

TORONTO, Ont. (May 1, 2018) - Canada Basketball's Women's High Performance Program will conduct a National Open Identification Session for athletes born in 2000 or earlier on Wednesday, May 16 (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm) at Humber College - North Campus.

In order to be eligible to participate in international competition for any Canadian women's national teams, all athletes must be a Canadian citizen and that citizenship must be authorized by a valid Canadian passport.

Athletes identified as senior pool prospects from the Open ID session may be invited to be further evaluated during an assessment camp (by invitation) that will take place June 15-21, 2018 in Edmonton.

Eligible athletes interested in participating in the 2018 WNTP Open ID must pre-register.

Please complete the above registration form and return via fax at (416) 614-9570 or electronically to womenhp@basketball.ca no later than Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 6:00pm ET.

There is no cost to attend the Open Identification Session, however, all athletes are responsible for their own gear, taping, and expenses to attend.
