QUOTES

“Anytime you get a chance to play against a team like Spain, ranked as high as they are internationally, it gives you a great benchmark for where you’re at currently. For a lot of our younger players who haven’t played at this stage before, it gave them a great benchmark for where we need to go from here. This will be a great building block for us to continue to grow and develop throughout the course of the next couple games.” - Lisa Thomaidis, Head Coach

“We played hard…people hustled really hard, we played through to the end despite the score and I think that shows the heart Canadians are made of.” - Ruth Hamblin
