15U WOMEN

Saskatchewan 56 – Alberta 45

Saskatchewan improved their record to 2-1 as they snuck by Alberta with a 56-45 victory.

Saskatchewan’s offense was led by Micaela Crone who scored a game-high of 19 points and snagged 6 rebounds. Lauren Earl added 15 points and 5 boards in the contest.

Alyssa Hoveling had a team-high 11 points for Alberta with Carly McHarg adding 10 rebounds.

Prince Edward Island 59 – Newfoundland 57

Prince Edward Island opened up their third day of the tournament with a close game beating Newfoundland 59-57.  

Jenna Mae Ellsworth had an outstanding performance for Prince Edward Island dishing out a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Alexis MacInnis added 13 points in the win.

Sydney Van De Wiel had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Newfoundland.

Manitoba 54 – Nova Scotia 72

Nova Scotia earned their third straight win today defeating Manitoba 72-54.  

Jayda Veinot led the way for Nova Scotia with a team-high 13 points and snatching 4 boards. Jasmine Cain and Katie Upham both added 10 points for Nova Scotia.  

Keylyn Filewich notched a double-double for Manitoba scoring 15 points with 13 rebounds.

Quebec 63 – New Brunswick 54

Team Quebec swept by New Brunswick in a 63-54 win on Wednesday.

Myriam Leclerc led it for Quebec scoring 12 points with 4 boards. Tatiana Toledo and Cleary-Sorelle-Ketia Ineza added 9 points each to the win.

New Brunswick’s Taylor Cooke had a game-high of 15 points in the contest.

15U MEN

Ontario 66 Quebec 67

In an extremely close match between two strong teams, Quebec came out on top with a 67-66 victory over Ontario.

Quebec was led by Anthony Longpre who finished the game with a double-double scoring a game-high 19 points adding 10 rebounds. William Boyer-Richard added 13 points for Quebec.  

In the close contest, Ontario’s Tyler Plummer had 14 points and 7 rebounds despite the loss.

Both teams fought hard and played right until the final whistle.

Saskatchewan 57 – Newfoundland 31

Saskatchewan swept by Newfoundland in day 3 action with a 57-31 victory improving their record to 2-1 in the tournament.

Jesse Ducharme led Saskatchewan with a double-double scoring 12 points and adding 16 rebounds. Brandon Bonneau of Saskatchewan also raked in a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Brandon Bambrick played strong for Newfoundland scoring 15 points while adding 9 rebounds just shy of a double-double.  

New Brunswick 75 – Prince Edward Island 39

New Brunswick defeated Prince Edward Island 75-39 in a well-rounded team effort on day 3 of the tournament.  

New Brunswick’s Leo Titarenko led the team with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both Seongwoo Park and Alex Loughery added 10 points in the contest.

Max Ramsay led the way for Prince Edward Island scoring a team-high 10 points while grabbing 6 rebounds.

Alberta 81 – Territories 33

Alberta took over the game early on to defeat Team Territories 81-33.  

Aher Uguak had a great performance scoring a game-high 26 points while adding 9 rebounds for Alberta. Ogot Ogot added 14 points and 8 rebounds to help win the game.

RJ Siosan led the Territories with 9 points while Chris Carino added 8 boards.
