15U WOMEN

Manitoba 55 – New Brunswick 66

New Brunswick defeated Manitoba 66-55 to place 7th overall in the 15U Nationals Championship.

Bridget Frazee led New Brunswick with 17 points and 3 rebounds in the game.

Keylyn Filewich had a game-high of 24 points and 8 rebounds for Manitoba.

Nova Scotia 59 – Saskatchewan 50

Nova Scotia defeated Saskatchewan 59-50 to win bronze in the tournament.

Jasmine Cain scored 13 points while adding 4 steal to lead Nova Scotia. Ty’keia Beals and Daejiah Johnson both added 11 points for Nova Scotia.

Dayba Pearce and Lauryn Prokop and Ella Johnson all scored 10 points for Saskatchewan.

British Columbia 50 – Prince Edward Island 42

British Columbia defeated Prince Edward Island 50-42 to place 5th in the tournament.

Calli McMillan scored a team-high 10 points while adding 6 rebounds. An overall team effort was contributed to the win.

Prince Edward Island was led by Jenna Mae Ellsworth with a game-high 16 points.

Ontario 68 - Quebec 39

Ontario defeated Quebec 68-39 winning the 2013 15U Women’s National Championship.

Mikaela Brewer led the team in points with 17. Hailey Brown added 15 points and 7 rebounds for Ontario.

Myriam Leclerc scored a team-high 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Quebec.


15U MEN

British Columbia 72 – Saskatchewan 68

British Columbia claimed 7th place in the tournament with a win over Saskatchewan, 72-68.

Justin McChesney and Chase Claypool both scored 13 points in the match both grabbing 9 rebounds each for British Columbia.

Ja'shon Henry collected 18 points and 6 rebounds for Saskatchewan.

Nova Scotia 91 – New Brunswick 78

Nova Scotia went on to beat New Brunswick 91-78 winning 5th place in the tournament.

Dakelle Brooks had 20 points and 4 rebounds leading the way for Nova Scotia. Myron Willis added 19 points in the contest.

New Brunswick was led by Leo Titarenko with 26 points and 9 rebounds.

Manitoba 90 – Alberta 77

Manitoba played a tough game defeating Alberta 90-77 to win bronze.

Eric Braganza had quite the amazing performance for his team with a double-double scoring a game-high 32 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Daniel Sackey added a double-double for Manitoba with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the match.

Benoit Kapinga led the way for Alberta with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Quebec 55 – Ontario 68

Ontario beat Quebec 68-55 to win the 2013 15U National Championship for the 6th consecutive time.

Muhammed Kabeya led the way for Ontario with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists with a great performance. Devonte Case added a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Kordell Greenaway led the way for Quebec with a game-high 19 points.
