Our Girl's National Championship was a success thanks to Basketball Saskatchewan and all of their amazing volunteers for being wonderful hosts and thanks to all players and coaches for great competition.

Bronze Medal Game
Manitoba 37 Ontario 39
Manitoba came out of the gate strong in the bronze medal game. Lauren Bartlett led Manitoba to a 15-5 first quarter lead. In the second quarter Team Ontario's Merissah Russell ramped up the defensive intensity securing 4 steals in the second frame. Team Ontario used this defence to change momentum and take a 21-19 lead going into half. The third quarter featured a back and forth affair but in the end, Team Ontario was able to take the win.
Gold Medal Game
British Columbia 48 Quebec 61
British Columbia began strong leading 20-10 after the first quarter. Quebec narrowed the gap with just 30-25 at the half. Quebec outscored British Columbia 21-9, to take a 46-39 at the end of the third. In the last quarter both teams came out strong, but Quebec secured the gold medal with a 61-48 win. Donna Ntambue continued her strong play leading Team Quebec with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals.

Bronze Medal Game
Manitoba 56 Saskatchewan 82
This high-intensity game saw Saskatchewan jumped out to an early lead that they would never relinquish. The hosts pounded the ball down low â?? scoring 54 points in the paint. Manitoba's Raizel Guinto did all she could to keep her team in it, scoring 22 points on 60% shooting.
Gold Medal Game
Quebec 53 Ontario 76
Quebec's guards started off the game strong making four three-pointers in the first quarter, giving them a 17-13 advantage. Ontario clamped down on the defensive end, and took the lead 32-31 at end of the half. The story of the second half was Ontario's defence when they forced Quebec into shooting 28% from the field, while forcing 27 turnovers. Ontario finished the game leading 76-53 to earn to gold medal.
