Two-time Olympian, Lizanne Murphy, shares her #BBall125 memory from the 2015 Pan Am games where she won Gold with Team Canada.

"My greatest basketball memory is hands-down winning the gold medal at the Pan American games in Toronto. It was amazing to have my family and best friends there. Among them were my father, Harold who had just spent 6 months in the hospital fighting for his life; and one of my best friends, Debbie, in the midst of her 2-year gruesome battle with cancer. The fact that that both of them made it there was a miracle in itself. But to see the joy on the their faces when we won will go down as one of the happiest days of my life. Debbie ultimately lost her battle with cancer, but before passing told me that our gold medal was one of the happiest days of her life." - Lizanne Murphy
