TORONTO (July 3, 2024) – Canada Basketball announced Wednesday that it has released Oshae Brissett and Kyle Alexander from the Senior Men’s National Team training camp ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Brissett requested to withdraw from training camp to focus on NBA free agency.
Leonard Miller, who was attending training camp to gain Senior Men’s National Team experience but not competing for a roster spot, was also released.
Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team training camp roster now stands at 16 players competing to represent Canada this summer.
Following training camp in Toronto, Canada will head to Las Vegas, where they will face USA Basketball in an exhibition game at T-Mobile Arena on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT / 10:30 p.m. ET as part of the USA Basketball Showcase.
