At Canada Basketball we have observed the prep school phenomenon, both in the US and in Canada. We believe the prep school experience can be a positive part of the development, for some athletes. In light of the recent concerns around athletes attending certain schools in the US, we believe that caution should be taken when selecting high schools to attend. Any parents or athletes that are considering attending schools in the US, must do a thorough due diligence of the establishment and program before committing an athlete.

CB is reviewing all processes in regards to the development of elite Canadian basketball players and planning new initiatives to develop elite athletes within our own country.
