Canada is coming home with hardware.
After falling 21–15 to the Netherlands in the semi-finals, the Canadian squad bounced back in dominant fashion to secure the bronze medal at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2025. Paige Crozon led the way with 10 points and 5 rebounds in the semis, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a sharp-shooting Dutch team that would go on to win the tournament.
Heading into the bronze medal matchup, the message was clear: stay locked in and finish strong. Canada did exactly that.
They stormed out to a commanding 10–1 lead over Poland within the opening minutes of the game, setting the tone early and never letting go. With control on both ends of the floor, Canada cruised to a 21–9 victory to secure their spot on the podium.
Crozon delivered another standout performance in the bronze medal game, scoring 13 of Canada’s 21 points while adding 5 rebounds — a steady, veteran presence in the team’s most crucial moments.
The accolades didn’t stop there. On her birthday, Saicha Grant-Allen was named to the Women’s Team of the Tournament, recognized alongside the Netherlands' Noortje Driessen and Mongolia’s Khulan Onolbaatar. Grant-Allen was a force throughout the competition, anchoring Canada’s defence and consistently making her presence felt in the paint.
With a bronze medal around their necks and a global spotlight on their progress, Canada’s women’s 3x3 program continues to rise. This result is more than just a podium finish — it’s a statement about the team’s growth, their resilience, and the bright future ahead for 3x3 basketball in Canada.
