Canada played a highly competitive game against the Netherlands with either team not willing to give the other any space offensively while hammering down in the post to get easy inside buckets. Neither team was able to pull away with a lead making it a 3-point or less ball game for the entire 10 minutes. Canada battled the Netherlands in the post to get as many second chance opportunities but the Netherlands consistent shooting left them on top when time expired, and advanced them to the Semi-Finals off of a 18-16 victory over Team Canada.
