Australia ended Canada's medal hopes with a 100-86 quarterfinal victory, sending Canada into the classification round. Canada came back with an 89-79 win over Puerto Rico before falling to France in the fifth-place game to finish sixth overall.
While the tournament did not end with the result Canada had hoped for, the team showcased resilience and determination throughout the competition. From the opening day of training camp through the final buzzer in Istanbul, this group represented Canada with pride while gaining valuable experience on the international stage.
