After Canada`s thrilling victory over Great Britain on Monday, Canada will now shift their focus to the French team. Canada knows a fair bit about this team and both nations have begun to have a rivalry with each other over the past few years, as they have met in exhibitions and numerous competitions as of late.
The eighth ranked French team will enter this contest with Canada with a 2-0 record. France defeated Brazil in their opening game of the tournament 73-58 and then beat Australia in overtime, 74-70.
Canada will have to do their best to contain French guard, CélineDumerc who has averaged 18 points in the tournament so far.
The game will be televised on CTV beginning at 4am EDT and will be available to watch online at ctvolympics.ca.
