After falling just short to the second ranked Russian Women’s Basketball Team, Canada will be looking to bounce back and even their record versus the host nation, Great Britain. The game will tip-off at 3:00 p.m. EDT and be televised on Sportsnet. For those who can't watch on TV, the game will also be available online at CTVolympics.com.
Canada will be looking for a similar effort that shut-down the Russian offence for most of the game on Saturday. Canada will be hoping to get a similar performance out of Kim Smith (Mission, BC) who had a great game scoring 20 points and hitting five 3-point field goals in the game.
The 49th ranked Great Britain basketball team also lost their opening game in the Olympics to Australia, 74-58.
