Toronto, Ontario (August 10, 2014)—Canada’s Senior Men’s National Basketball team won 72 to 66 over 7th ranked Turkey in the 10th game of its summer European Exhibition Series in Seville, Spain

After one quarter of play Canada lead 23-18 over Turkey.
Teams were tied 33 a-piece at the half. Joseph led Canada with 13 points while Sacre added 8. Sacre was also big on the boards, leading Canada with 6 rebounds going into the third quarter.
Canada led by 1 at the end of the third, 51 – 50. Joseph continued to have a strong quarter leading Team Canada with 17 points and shooting 72 % from the floor.
In the fourth quarter Canada was able to hold off Turkey and extend its lead winning by 6 points. Joseph led Canada with 19 points shooting 70%. This proved to be Canada’s strength, out-shooting Turkey 48% to 37% from the floor. Canada’s other leading scorers were Sacre with 13, and Nicholson and English with 12 points each.
Sacre and English led Canada in rebounds with 11 and 9 respectively.
Oguz Savas led Turkey with 14 points.
