TORONTO, ON. (August 15, 2019) - CBC Sports and Canada Basketball today announced a partnership to allow the live broadcast of four preparation matches for Canada's Senior National Team between August 16 and 21. The matches will be available on CBC Sports platforms and the CBC Gem free streaming service.
The four games will be broadcast on Canadian territory at cbcsports.ca , CBC Gem , and via the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices . In addition, the Canada match on Saturday, August 17 will be broadcast on the weekly Road to the Olympic Games , starting at 4 pm (1 pm PT) on CBC and CBC Gem.

The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China (from August 31 to September 15, 2019) will be the most important edition of FIBA's flagship event with a record 32 participating teams playing a total of 92 matches on 16 days.
