The NBA league office today announced that Spurs guard Cory Joseph was named to the 2012 NBA Summer-League All-Star Team for games played last week in Las Vegas, Nev.

In the five games Joseph played in, he averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per contest. Joseph shot .478 (32-67) from the field, including .400 (6-15) from three-point range, and shot .833 (15-18) from the free throw line.

This is a great start for Joseph and will build confidence entering his second season with the San Antonio Spurs.
