Crozon, Sir named Toyota Canada Players of the Week
TORONTO (Dec. 17, 2024) – Paige Crozon and Steve Sir have been named the Toyota Canada Players of the Week for the week of Dec .9-15.
Crozon and the 3x3 Women’s National Team made the trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico last week defeating USA in the final en route to capturing the program’s second FIBA 3x3 Women's AmeriCup 2024 title. The Humboldt, Sask. native was lights out, leading all players in points (46) and player value (59.3). She handily won the tournament’sMVP award, headlining the Women’s Team of the Tournament.
Like Crozon, Sir had a phenomenal week in San Juan with the 3x3 Men’s National Team, helping propel the program to their first-ever bronze medal at the FIBA 3x3 Men's AmeriCup 2024. The Edmonton, Atla. native was fourth overall in points during the tournament (31), and fifth in player value (37.7), ultimately being named to the Men’s Team of the Tournament.
