After four days at the Canada Basketball 15U & 17U Boys and Girls National Championships, we now know Friday's semifinal matchups.
In Calgary, Ontario will meet BC at 6:00 pm MT / 8:00 pm ET, while Quebec will take on Saskatchewan at 8:15 pm MT / 10:15 pm ET in the 15U Girls semifinals. While in 17U Girls semifinal play, Alberta will do battle with Ontario at 3:45 pm MT / 5:45 pm ET, followed by Quebec matching up against Manitoba at 6:00 pm MT / 8:00 pm ET.
In Sherbrooke, four provinces will compete in the 15U and 17U Boys semifinals. In 15U Quebec will clash against Alberta at 6:00 pm ET / 3:00 pm PT, before Ontario goes up against British Columbia at 8:15 pm ET / 5:15 pm PT. In 17U Boys, British Columbia takes on Alberta at 6:00 pm ET / 3:00 pm PT, before Quebec takes the court in their home province in the final game of the night against Ontario at 8:15 pm ET / 5:15 pm PT.
Quarter-final clashes went down on Thursday in Sherbrooke and Calgary, coming in 17U Girls action. Manitoba’s Isabel Fust continued her standout tournament with a game-tying three-pointer in the dying seconds to send the team’s game into overtime, before ultimately prevailing over British Columbia with an 88-82 victory.
Ontario joined Manitoba in punching their 17U Girls semifinal ticket with a narrow 57-53 win over Newfoundland & Labrador, while in 15U Girls quarter-final play, Quebec defeated Manitoba 84-43 and Ontario defeated Newfoundland & Labrador 92-32.
The game of the day in Sherbrooke was the game of the day, as British Columbia showed exactly why they went 2-0 in preliminary group play, defeating Nova Scotia 114-95 to advance to Friday night’s semifinals. Six different players recorded double-digit points in the win, led by Nylan Roberts who notched 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
In other 17U Boys quarter-final action in Sherbrooke, Quebec defeated New Brunswick to move on to Friday. On the 15U Boys side, British Columbia cruised past New Brunswick 94-57, Quebec narrowly squeezed past Nova Scotia 74-66, Alberta defeated Newfoundland & Labrador 82-60 and Ontario took down Manitoba to remain undefeated with an 89-51 win.

The Canada Basketball 15U & 17U National Championships are the premier national amateur sport events for the Canadian basketball community.
