The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is the pinnacle event of an 'open' network of FIBA-endorsed 3x3 tournaments. Season 2019 will consist of 11 Masters tournaments, before culminating with the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final on November 2 and 3 in Utsunomiya, Japan.

For the first time, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters is being hosted in Montreal and various activities such as dance, arcades games and performances will be offered to the public. The participating teams compete for two days for the pride to represent their city, prize money (more than 1 million USD on the season) and points to qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Utsunomiya Final.

In their FIBA 3x3 World Tour debut in Chengdu, Edmonton finished twelfth overall. Following their debut, they finished eighth in Mexico, fourth in Saskatoon and twelfth in Debrecen.

Canada is currently ranked 20th (3rd Americas) in the FIBA 3x3 Federation Rankings.
