The guard finished as Canada’s leading scorer and top facilitator, averaging 13.0 points and 4.9 assists per game. Charles played a pivotal role in guiding Canada to a fifth-place finish, with the team’s only two losses coming against eventual finalists, the United States and Germany.
Charles showcased his full potential in Canada’s matchup against the United States, recording 19 points and 5 assists in a hard-fought battle. Earlier in the tournament, he delivered a standout performance in the group stage against Slovenia, finishing with 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
