Lines Of The Week: Canadians In The Ncaa

Several Canadians came up big for their teams this week in the NCAA.

Kayla Alexander (Milton, ON) – Syracuse, Sr.

Kayla posted averages of 23 points and 11 rebounds this week, highlighted by a 34 and 13 performance in a win against Wagner.

Anthony Bennett (Brampton, ON) – UNLV, Fr.

Bennett had a strong showing this week posting averages of 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds as the Rebels added to their win column.

Taryn Wicijowski (Regina, SK) – Utah, Sr.

Wicijowski continued her all-round play averaging 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks.

Nik Stauskas (Mississauga, ON) – Michigan, Fr.

The guard shot 56.5% from the field, including 68.5% from 3 and 100% from the line en route to 21 PPG this week in just 34.5 mins per game.

Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton, AB) – Utah, Jr.

Plouffe had a strong week averaging 2 threes, 16.5 points, 4.5 boards, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1.5 blocks this week.

Kelly Olynyk (Kamloops, BC) – Gonzaga, Jr.

Kelly had an efficient week for the Bulldogs shooting 66.7% from the floor and put up averages of 13 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal.
