Owen Klassen (Kingston, ON)- Center, Acadia Axemen, Sr.

Klassen had a strong outing last game, scoring 21 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a convincing win over Memorial.  He is a 56% shooter from the floor and provides versatility on both ends of the court, which causes match-up nightmares for other teams.  Klassen averages 22 points and 10 rebounds a game.

Michelle Plouffe (Edmonton, AB)- Forward, Utah Utes, Sr.

Plouffe is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Utes and it showed in a hard-fought loss against CAL on January 12th.  She had 19 points, 14 rebounds and added 4 helpers in 35 minutes of play. Plouffe averages 17 points and 11 rebounds a game.

Stefan Nastic(Toronto, ON)- Center, Stanford Cardinal, Jr.

Nastic was a presence for the Cardinal when Stanford faced Oregon on January 12th. In 32 minutes of play, Nastic contributed 14 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.  He will look to bring the same intensity versus the Washington St. Cougars on January 15th.

Natalie Achonwa (Guelph, ON)- Forward, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Sr.

Achonwa, nicknamed Ace by her teammates, took the Fighting Irish on her back Sunday, when she willed her team to victory against the Virginia Cavaliers. She scored 26 points and snatched 16 rebounds. She is an emerging star in the NCAA and hopes to help Notre Dame continue their winning ways. Achonwa averages 18 points and 9 rebounds a game.

Melvin Ejim (Toronto, On) Forward, Iowa St. Cyclones, Sr.

Ejim had a big night over the weekend in a losing effort against Oklahoma. He managed 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists and attempted to help rally his team to a win. He had another strong night against Kansas on Monday, scoring 15 points, grabbing 5 boards and 3 steals, but again fell just short of a victory. Ejim is hoping that his team is coming to form, just as he is, and that they can get some wins in the upcoming games.

Ruth Hamblin (Houston, BC) Center, Oregon St. Beavers, So.

Hamblin was a force when the Beavs took on the Oregon Ducks, in an intense inter-state rivalry. In 33 minutes of play, she was 11-15 from the floor with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks! Coming of one of her best games, Hamblin continues to grow and help the Beavers compete each and every night.
