 Naana Ankoma-Mensa (Brampton, ON)- Bryant Bulldogs- Soph. Forward

Ankoma-Mensa was a force on the glass on Monday night, grabbing 12 rebounds and pouring in 22 points in a tough loss against Saint-Francis. The sophomore is having a breakout year and is leading her team in many statistical categories. The Bulldogs take on Central Conn. Saturday to see if they can bounce back.


 Laurent Rivard (Saint-Bruno, QC) Harvard Crimson- Sr. Guard

Over the last two games, Laurent Rivard has been fantastic. On Friday night, Rivard put the Crimson on his back to outlast Princeton 82-76, scoring 18 points and grabbing 5 boards. On Saturday night, Rivard was at it again, leading his team with 22 points and 5 rebounds in a convincing win over Penn 80-50. The Crimson take on Brown Friday night at 7pm.


 Natalie Achonwa (Guelph, ON) – Notre Dame, Jr. Forward

In a very hyped up game, Achonwa rose to the occasion and posted great numbers against No.3 Duke on Sunday. She grabbed 9 rebounds in the game and poured in 15 points to help the Fighting Irish to a victory. She also defended Duke center Elizabeth Williams beautifully, holding her to only 2 points. The Fighting Irish next opponent is Florida State tomorrow night at 7pm.

 Dwight Powell (Toronto, ON)- Stanford Cardinal- Sr. Forward

Powell willed his team to victory by matching his career-high of 28 points on Saturday night. The big man out of Toronto, ON contributed 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the contest versus Arizona State, as the Cardinal went on the a 76-70 win. Powell is amongst the top 2 in points, rebounding and assists on his team. He and the Cardinal take on Cal tonight at Haas Pavilion.


 Cassandra Brown (Vernon, BC) Portland Pilots- Jr. G/F

Brown had 20 points and 6 rebounds in a blowout victory over Santa Clara Saturday. The BC native was 6 of 11 from the floor and reached the 20-point plateau for the team-best fifth time. The Pilots take on Loyola Marymount next on Thursday night at 7pm.


 Melvin Ejim (Toronto, ON) Iowa State Cyclones- Sr. Forward

Melvin Ejim notched his 29th double-double in dramatic fashion on Monday night. The senior scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the triple-overtime victory against Oklahoma State. He is considered amongst the top forwards in the Big 12 conference, and after this strong of performances, in the nation as well.
