Kyle Wiltjer (Portland, Oregon) Junior Forward – Gonzaga Bulldogs

Kyle’s transfer from Kentucky to Gonzaga has paid dividends and he is definitely showing that through his play this past week. In two games this week against conference rivals, San Francisco and Santa Clara, Kyle averaged 15.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 2.5 APG while shooting 67% from behind the arc. His standout performance came against Santa Clara as he netted 16 points, snagged 6 rebounds and dished out 2 assists with a block. Gonzaga and Wiltjer hope to continue their 9-game win streak against Pepperdine on Thursday night.


Xavier Rathan-Mayes (Scarborough, Ontario) Freshman Guard – Florida State Seminoles

After redshirting all of last season, Rathan-Mayes looks like a well-groomed college guard. His Seminoles split their two games this past week, defeating Virginia Tech and losing to Syracuse on the road, but Xavier was a constant bright spot. Throughout the week he averaged 18.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG and 2.5 APG, chipping in with a steal per game. Xavier’s highlight performance this week came against Virginia Tech where he scored 22 points to go along with 3 assists and 2 rebounds. Xavier hopes to get his Seminoles back to their winning ways against Pittsburgh Wednesday night.


Dyshawn Pierre (Whitby, Ontario) Junior Forward – Dayton Flyers

Dyshawn keeps on putting up gigantic numbers for the Dayton Flyers – leading them to two wins against St. Bonaventure and Fordham. In those games he averaged 15.5 PPG to go along with 6.5 RPG, 1.5 APG and a 60% field-goal percentage. Pierre’s dynamic showing of 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists against St. Bonaventure stood out this week. Dyshawn and the Flyers are on a tear and hope to keep it going against La Salle on Wednesday night.


Ruth Hamblin (Houston, British Columbia) Junior Center – Oregon State Beavers

Ruth continues to be a standout in the post for the Beavers this season. Hamblin averaged 16.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG and 4.0 BPG after sealing back-to-back wins against state-rival, Oregon this week. Her breakout performance came against the Ducks after their second set of games where she put up 23 points (shooting 65% from the field), 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. This whole season, Hamblin has been a plug in the paint and she hopes to continue her strong play into Friday night when the Beavers go up against Washington State.


Adut Bulgak (Edmonton, Alberta) Junior Center – Florida State Seminoles

Bulgak continues to lead her Seminoles to wins as she helped Florida State knock off ACC rivals, Clemson and Duke. In those two games she averaged 16.0 PPG, 14.0 RPG and 2.5 BPG all while shooting 60% from the field. Her monstrous game came against Duke where she scored 18 points to go along with 18 rebounds and a block. Adut and Florida State hope to build off their 2-1 conference record and mini two-game win streak as they face Pittsburgh on Thursday night.


Cassandra Brown (Vernon, British Columbia) Senior Guard/Forward – Portland Pilots

Through a tough season for the Pilots, Cassandra continues to shine bright in her senior year. This past week against Santa Clara and San Francisco, Brown averaged 20.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG and 1.0 SPG to along with a 55% field-goal percentage. Her standout performance came against San Francisco last Saturday – 20 points, 8 rebounds and a steal. Brown and the Pilots hope to steer the plane in the right direction a
