Nirra Fields (Montreal, Quebec) Junior Guard – UCLA Bruins

Nirra continues to play well for the Bruins. The junior guard is developing into a leader on the court and on the stat sheet as she averaged 20.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG and 2.5 SPG to go along with 2.0 APG this week. Nirra’s best game of the week came against Colorado when she netted 24 points while grabbing 5 rebounds and 4 steals in a 72-65 victory. After bouncing back from a losing streak, Nirra and UCLA are on a two-game mini win-streak and hope to continue this against California on Thursday night.

Quinn Dornstauder (Regina, Saskatchewan) Sophomore Center – Arizona State Sun Devils

The Regina native, Quinn, had a dynamic couple games this past week for the Sun Devils. Arizona State went 1-1 on the week – beating Stanford and losing to California. Throughout the week Quinn averaged 11.0 PPG, 2.0 RPG and 1.0 BPG along with a 57% shooting percentage. Her brightest performance came against Stanford when she scored 22 points off a 70% shooting percentage to go along with 4 rebounds and a block in a nail-biting 53-52 triumph. Quinn looks to build off her solid week against Oregon State Friday night.

Adut Bulgak (Edmonton, Alberta) Junior Center – Florida State Seminoles

After a week’s break, Adut and the Seminoles were back in action against Miami last Sunday night. In Adut’s only game of the week, she managed to put up some solid numbers – 19 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks together with a 100% free-throw percentage. The Seminoles beat the Hurricanes by 20 points and continue to roll through the ACC. Adut and Florida State will try to stay on their winning ways against North Carolina on Thursday night.

Olivier Hanlan (Aylmer, Quebec) Junior Shooting Guard – Boston College Eagles

The junior shooting guard shot the lights out for Boston College this past week. Even though Boston College lost both their games against Notre Dame and North Carolina, Olivier was a true bright spot. Throughout the week, the junior averaged 29.0 PPG together with 2.5 APG, 2.0 RPG and 1.0 SPG. Olivier’s best game of the week was against Notre Dame when he nailed 28 points, dished out 4 assists and snagged 4 rebounds while shooting 69% from the field. With Olivier continuing to play well, the Eagles hope they can get in the win-column against Syracuse on Wednesday night at home.

Kyle Wiltjer (Portland, Oregon) Junior Forward – Gonzaga Bulldogs

Kyle has been an integral component for the Bulldogs as they continue to chase the #1 NCAA ranking. With two wins against Santa Clara and San Francisco, Kyle averaged 26.0 PPG, 8.5 RPG and 2.0 APG while shooting 57% from behind the arc. The dynamic forward had his best game this week against San Francisco – scoring 29 points to go along with 11 rebounds, 2 assists and a 55% field-goal percentage. Gonzaga and Kyle look to build on their win-streak against Loyola Marymount on Thursday night.

Kevin Thomas (Ajax, Ontario) Junior Forward – Troy Trojans

After working his way through the Junior-College ranks, Kevin Thomas has arrived in the NCAA. The junior forward put up some solid numbers this week against Arkansas State and Appalachian State – 14.5 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 2.0 APG and 2.0 SPG. Kevin shined brightest against Arkansas State when he managed to get a double-double (16 points and 11 rebounds) to go along with 4 steals, 2 assists and a block. After a tough loss to Appalachian State, Kevin and the Trojans look to bounce back against South Alabama on Thursday night.
