Nova Scotia bounced back in the third as the two teams scored 18 points apiece in the third, but with such a large deficit, simply matching Ontario’s scoring wasn’t enough and Ontario went into the fourth leading 76-39.

The 15U Québec Women's team defeated Alberta 77-71 to earn the bronze medal as Jahda Denis led the way with 23 points and Marie Grace Talle Makoudoum added 16 points to lead a Québec team that needed to overcome a 27-point explosion from Alberta’s Kira Airey.
After a slow start from both teams, Québec held a 12-point lead after the opening 10 minutes. Though Alberta struck first in the second quarter, with a jumper from Cameron McMaster, Québec responded with back-to-back three-pointers from Frederique Tremblay, and then another three from Alice Veilleux to stretch their lead. A free throw from Denis capped the Québec run at 12 points, as Quebec led 32-10 midway through the quarter. Alberta closed the quarter strong and was able to trim the deficit in half, to go into the halftime break trailing by 11.
The teams traded baskets to start the third, but Alberta began to creep closer and were within five after a jumper from Ella Auch with eight minutes remaining in the quarter. From there, Québec calmly closed the quarter on a 7-2 run to go into the fourth leading by 10.
Alberta continued to come at Québec in the final frame, but for every push they made, Québec had an answer. A late push in the final minutes as Airey scored five straight points herself to get Alberta within four was answered by free throws from Denis. After a layup from Alberta’s Eimy Erinuugha with 2:30 remaining, Denis responded with a free throw, a steal and a layup and then a three-pointer to keep Québec ahead by eight with 1:43 on the clock as Alberta ran out of time to complete the comeback.
