Andrew Wiggins

   Wiggins has been silencing critics with two strong performances over the past week. The Canadian managed 22 points and 5 rebounds in a landslide win over state rivals Kansas State. Wiggins followed up that performance with a monster game on January 13th against Iowa State. He dominated the boards, grabbing a season-high 19 rebounds and pouring in 17 points.  Be sure not miss Andrew and the Jayhawks next game against a solid Oklahoma State team, who are currently 15-2.

Natalie Achonwa

   Achonwa had a career night on January 12th. She shot 9 of 14 from the floor, scoring 26 points and pulling down 16 rebounds, and helped rally her team to a hard-fought win against Virginia.  She was the centrepiece of the win, and continues to help make Notre Dame one of only two teams to still be undefeated. Achonwa is averaging 13 points and 9 boards this season.  Don’t miss the Guelph, ON native and her Fighting Irish when they take on Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
