Quincy Guerrier, Jasmine Bascoe Named Toyota Canada Players of the Week

TORONTO, Ont. (Dec 4,2024) – Quincy Guerrier and Jasmine Bascoe have been named the ToyotaCanada Players of the Week for Nov. 25 – Dec. 1.

This past week the Raptors905 faced off against the Maine Celtics in the G League, falling short of a win, 114-121. Despite the defeat, Guerrier had an impressive performance, scoring 27 points and grabbing nine rebounds shortly after returning from the FIBA Men’s AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers in Saskatoon. This marked the Montreal native’s first time donning the red and white jersey, including a start against Mexico - Canada remained undefeated in the Qualifiers with a pair of wins this past window.

Last Sunday, the Villanova Wildcats recorded an 81-65 win over Saint Joseph’s behind another impressive freshman performance from Bascoe. The Milton, Ont. product dominated with a team-high 26 points, along with four boards and four assists. Bascoe most recently played a pivotal role with the U18 Women’s National Team this past summer, earning a silver medal at the FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup in June.
