Strong Canadian Presence For World Select Team At Nike Hoop Summit
TORONTO, ON (April 6, 2017) - Head coach Roy Rana looks to lead the World Select Team to victory at tomorrow's Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Oregon. Joining Rana in Portland are fellow Canadians Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Toronto, ON), RJ Barrett (Mississauga, ON), Luguentz Dort (Montreal, QC), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Hamilton, ON), and Lindell Wigginton (Dartmouth, NS) against Team USA.
The World Select Team looks to get back in the win column after dropping last year's game by a score of 101-67. One year prior, Hoop Summit MVP Jamal Murray (Kitchener, ON) led the way in a 103-101 thriller over Team USA.
