There’s a strong pool of talent amongst young basketball players in Canada.  Canada Basketball currently runs Talent Identification Sessions in order to create the opportunity to see these rising stars, how they are developing and provide them with valuable coaching and advice as they aspire to play basketball at the highest level.

This documentary film, co-produced and directed by Anish Bhalla and Jay Irving gets behind-the-scenes at a December ID session.  You’ll see the players show their stuff under the watchful eye of Rowan Barrett, Canada Basketball’s Director of Men’s Youth Development.

The purpose of the camps is for Canada Basketball identify promising young players who may eventually gain invitations to try out for the Cadet Team, the Junior National Team, and the National Team.
