3x3 Canada Quest Coming To Toronto And Montreal

The 2012 3x3 Canada Quest has officially begun and has gotten off to an incredible start. The first of three tournaments took place in Edmonton, Alberta on June 9-10 as the team of Jordan Baker, Dom Coward, Joel Friesen, and Jarred Ogungbomi became the first team to qualify.  They will represent Canada in the inaugural FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters on August 18-19, 2012 in New York City. The 16 best teams from the Masters will then qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final taking place in Miami on September 23-24.

The remaining two spots are still up for grabs, and the winners will soon be determined in:

·         Toronto (July 6-8, Rexall Centre, York University)

·         Montreal (July 7-8, Olympic Stadium)

The early bird registration deadline is fast approaching (Only $2oo before June 20, 2012 at 5pm) so now is the time to get your team together, sign up, and bring your A-game to what promises to be a thrilling and challenging weekend.

Each player will receive a reversible jersey and prizing, and teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 7 games.

There will also be recreational divisions in Toronto for U11, 13, 15, 17 Boys and Girls. Registration fees are $100 and each team is guaranteed a minimum of four games. Only the winners of the Men’s Open Division will qualify for a berth to play in the FIBA tournaments.
