MONTENEGRO – The Canadian Senior Women’s “B” Team played their second game of their exhibition schedule and lost to Montenegro, 63-52. With the loss, Canada’s record is now 0-2.

“I am very pleased with the overall effort by the team today,” said head coach Fabian McKenzie. “We challenged the team on a few key areas and they did exactly what we asked them to. It was a much better team performance tonight. "

Wumi Agunbiade (Pickering, ON) led the Canadian team in scoring with 14 points in the contest.

“Defense kept us in the game tonight,” said Canadian guard, Korissa Williams (Amherstburg, ON). “We are beginning to play as a cohesive unit and I am looking forward to playing our next three games in Belgium.”

The Canadian Senior Women’s “B” Team will have a few days to practice and then they will face-off against Belgium for three games, from May 25 – 27.
