The demoralized Bulls are decimated by injury and just suffered their first loss since trading Luol Deng. The Magic will need to bring some energy to get a win against this squad. Andrew Nicholson is averaging 7.7 pts and 4 rebs, and hopes to help his team defeat the gritty defensive-minded Bulls.

L.A Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns

With Nash still sidelined by back problems, Robert Sacre continues to be the only Canadian suiting up for the Lakers these days. Nash looks to return by the end of the month, but Sacre hopes to contribute to a winning effort Wednesday night against the scorching Suns. He is averaging 5pts and 5 rebounds over the last 10 games.

Dallas Mavericks vs. L.A. Clippers

Samuel Dalembert (Montreal, QC)

The only Canadian in this game is Samuel Dalembert. He has been a more than serviceable starting center, averaging 8 pts and 8 rebs of late. Rick Carlyle has been happy with his production and Dalembert’s rim-protecting presence provides a good cover for Nowitzki’s defensive woes.

Miami Heat vs. Washington Wizards

Joel Anthony (Montreal, QC)

7:00pm(EST)- Verizon Center, Washington, DC

Joel Anthony is the Canadian presence in this match-up. By Miami Heat standards, they have been struggling of late and it would not be out of the question for Spoelstra to shuffle his lineup. This potential shuffle combined with certain injuries the Heat are dealing with could mean more minutes for Anthony.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Utah Jazz

8:00pm(EST)- AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

The Spurs have been on a tear of late, with their latest victim being the NWO Pelicans. Joseph had been struggling but had a good outing versus the Pelies, shooting 50% from the floor and contributing 7pts, a board and a helper.

The Cavs are hoping to find some newfound chemistry with their recently added piece, Luol Deng. The two Canucks in action will be Tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett. Now that Bynum is out of the picture, Thompson will now be looked at as the first scoring option in the post. Expect an increase production from Thompson with this role. He is averaging 35mins a game with 13pts and 9 boards over the last 10 games.

The Cats are visiting the Magic Friday evening, which should translate to a pretty good game, since both teams are in rebuilding stages. The Cats however do possess an offensive force in Al Jefferson, who scored a season high 27pts on Saturday. Andrew Nicholson will have his hands full guarding the big man on the block.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Two of the best records face off in Portland Friday, when the Spurs take on the Blazers. The highlighted matchup of that game will surely be Tony Parker versus sophomore sensation Damian Lilliard. Cory Joseph will be backing up Parker and have to defend against the sharp shooting vet Mo Williams for the Blazers. He had a good outing over the weekend and hopes to continue this trend.

Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers

This is game has all the makings of a blowout. The Heat have not been their dominant selves of late will not be taking pity on the Sixers, who sport the third worst record in the Eastern Conference. There should be a lot of garbage time in this one, it will present good opportunity for him to show Spoelstra that he’s still got something to give.

L.A. Lakers vs. Boston Celtics

Kelly Olynk, is showing promise each and every game this season, and coach Brad Stevens continues to show confidence in the young Caniadian. Robert Scare will be the one suiting up in the gold and purple, and will look to help slow down his fellow Canuck when the bench units hit the floor. Olynk is averaging 6pts and 4 boards over the last 10 games.

Bennett might actually see some time in this game because of his athleticism and ability to stick with the running teams. Tristan Thompson will have his hands full again, with the high-flying Kenneth Faried on his backside, fighting for every rebound and lose ball. He is going to have to bring a lot of energy to match Faried on this night.
